Sustainable use of submarine freshwater springs can augment water resources

MUSCAT — A novel technology to channelise and ensure sustainable use of submarine freshwater springs and thus ultimately reduce the production cost of drinking water significantly in Oman has been proposed by an expert as a way to augment Sultanate’s available water resources.
